We know how hard it is for artists to receive that individual attention - that you all so desire..
so to aid and remedy this ever present problem; we're creating this dynamic electronic workshop for promotions.
is is our truest intention to aid the music and arts community - by demystifying the process of Self Promotions. We All have that Elevator Speech in our heads, that we spill out on request.
well why not take a few moments and gather your resources and turn them into an action plan.
When we work on this workshop site, we'll take breaks here and there, to refresh and retain more information for your use. don't worry, we'll be here. sometimes we might not post for a week, but this site will be updated at least monthly after it's reached completion.

We suggest you start by signing up for a free website to host your promotional package and materials.
Our personal favorite is always Google. if you need an invite to google just ask.
We have a few left and would be happy to send you one.
you can also get a free website at many of these sites as well - just remember that you'll want FTP Access to allow you to upload large files quickly; and the ability to host mp3 and other music and graphic files.
We suggest that it would be helpful if your hosting site has it's own music section for new artists; where you may get more notice; and even meet a few new musician friends to network with.
We also suggest getting an account at RateThisTune.com to help with getting your music heard by a larger audience. this site allows you to email links to your music and it also allows you to get a feel for the public opinion with votes for your music from the general public and other site users.
One of our other favorites is Jamroom. This site allows you to upload your music to your own java jukebox. very useful when you want to influence Radio Play.
Also Don't Forget Imeem.com - they have both Video and Audio Playlists - which include Downloadability.
The Nice Folks at PeaceLoveProductions have a long list of Promotional Sites that are updated often; and span the gamut of musical tastes and trends.
In our opinion, This is the Momma of all Music Site Lists; Essential is the word for this site - which updates often.
Do Not Underestimate the power of Social Networking Sites such as Myspace.com or Friendster.com; which have millions of users dropping in daily to just catch up on the latest and greatest - which would be YOU !
Personally I prefer to visit BlackPlanet.com; and mix it up with the folks who love music - from My Perspective.
